If you would like to remove the link to the Catalyst Control Center that’s added to just about every Windows context menu simply open your registry editor, then locate and delete the following key:
KEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\ACE

So you just got a magicJack and now you keep hearing a click sound about every minute through your PC speakers? Well that sound is coming from the phone application that magicJack installed. The advertisement window inside of the application has a timed ad rotation in it, and every time it changes to the next ad you will hear that click sound. If you want to disable the click sound simply do the following.
- Open up Control Panel.
- Open up Sounds and Audio Devices.

- Click the Sounds tab at the top.

- Scroll down through the Program events until you find Start Navigation.

- Select Start Navigation then click the down arrow on the drop-down menu. Scroll through the menu until you find (None).

- Click (None) then click the Apply button.

- Click the Save As… button.

- Type in any name you’d like to label your new sound scheme as and then click the OK button.

- Click the OK button to close the last window and now you’re all done.
